Well, I made it. Utah is now resident richer. hehe We left on Sunday at noon (est) and arrived on Monday around 8pm (est). It was a long drive! And Randall did all the driving himself. Crazy! We DID stop for about four hours to sleep, but it was just in the car - no wasting money on hotels for us! All in all the drive was a nice one - construction being absent thanks to our friend, Labor Day, and traffic being fairly non-existent. At least until we hit Evanston, WY. See, from Wyoming to Utah there is only ONE real way to enter. That being I-80 through Evanston. Apparently EVERYBODY in SLC was entering via the same route, 'cause the traffic backup was unbelievable! It stretched down I-80 at Evanston all the way to 215 in Utah (google map it to get an idea). Needless to stay, the wait was nigh unbearable, having been cooped up in the car for the past 28 hours and being so close to the final destination. In the end, though, we made it. And it was good.

Now there's nothing left to do 'cept chill out until work begins next week! Sweets. ^^

glad to hear you made it to slc-ut safely, paul. maybe there was so much traffic because word was out that there was a new utahian on the road and everyone wanted to get a look at you. by the way, what's the word for someone from/who lives in utah? you know, like someone from michigan is a michigander. is it a utahder? a utahinian? i'll leave it at that. i think you get the idea.

well, to be honest, I'm not entirely sure. I think the general consensus would be to refer to utah's residents as, simply, Mormons. =P My personal vote is for Utahrds though. lol

Utahrds. I seriously spittled milk down my face when I read that and laughed out loud.

I'm going to tell everyone I know about Utahrdss.

Glad you made it safe and sound, you hairy freak. Although Kazoo is that much crappier now that youre gone. And its already pretty crappy to begin with...

I think Utards are famous for eating their extra babies. I mean, sometiems they just get too many...

if that's the case, i will only eat non-meat items when i visit. there must me a million ways to disguise babymeat, and i will not be tricked.

You'd be surprised - it can even look like eggplant!

Also, I say in the news that Utahrds are REALLY called Utahns. *sigh* I thought I had that one nailed for sure. The native peopels of Utah are (as in the Native Americans) are known as Utes. There is a mountain range known as the Uintas. So, as my fellow Paul'd say - "And now you know, the REST of the story."
