As usual, I've fallen off the bloggin' horse. However, I am here to tell you that I am climbing back on, saddle sores be damned.

For those of you out of the loop, so to speak, I've been taking tap dance lessons for a couple of months now, and they're freaking awesome. Tap dancing rules. Anyway, our teacher is primarily a ballet teacher and, as such, has many ballet recitals a year. Her upcoming show, Alice in Wonderland, was short on people, so she recruited Thea and me to be in it as well! Sadly, we don't get to tap in it, I guess 'cause it's a ballet, but whatever. :P Anyway, we're mainly in it to help with set changes, but we are in the final act, the 'jury scene' and we even have some dance steps to do. Therefore, I am proud to announce, I will soon be an official ballerina, or as Courtney's Dad likes to say, ballerinO. hehe There performances are Saturday, 4/29 and Sunday, 4/30. I'm not sure about the times, but I'll letcha guys no soon, kk? kk.

If you haven't noticed the updated links over there ( -> )in the link section, Anne-Marie and Pamela both have blogs! Way to go guys!! Anyway, check 'em out if you're interested. They both are quite active in there posting and they got some good stuff to say. Pam's got some great pictures on her site as well (and I'm not just saying that 'cause there's one of me, either, I *swear*).

Crap, I just looked up the dictionary definition of ballerina, and it's only a female term! Grrr. I guess I'll just be a danseur. /pout

Now, I want everyone to make sure they're sitting down before they read this. It's okay, I'll wait.

Okay? Everyone situated? Alright, well, what? You need to grab a drink? Okay...

So, I've finally decided to let the world know I love a certain person by going out on a limb and commiting myself to her in more than just deed, but in traditional fashion as well, with an engagement ring and all. That's right, I've asked Thea to marry me. Surprising as it may seem, she said 'yes' (okay, so I know *one* person who is really freakin' out in disbelief, but for everyone else firmly planted in reality... well, prolly not a huge surprise). Cool, huh?

Well, yes, very cool. I don't like public spectacles when it concerns serious things like this, so be nice to me, okay? Else I might turn all red and stuff. *blush* It's weird, I mean, if you wanna make fun of me for something stupid I did, no problem, but try'n' congratulate me on something good, and you just embarass me to no end - it's just 'how I roll' =P

So, I don't have any sort of tv channels right now (I'd say I don't have tv, but people often get literal on me when I say that and wonder how I survive without my video games and wonder what happened to my old tv, etc.) because I choose not to pay for cable and don't deign watch network television. So... what DO I watch then?

Well, I've recently been hooked on a nice British Sitcom from their lovely channel 4. It's called the "IT Crowd" and is a show the details the "typical" ins and outs of an offices Information Technology department. Well, let's just say it's pretty stinkin' hilarious at times. Unfortunately, the official site only lets you download the episodes if you are actually in Great Britain. So, I found a wonderful service where you can download them all. It's a little bit slow if you choose the free route (and, honestly, who wouldn't) as they make you have to wait for some minutes before downloading it AND they cap your bandwith, but, still, it's free. There ARE other places to get them if you feel like googling around for it, but, really, I think that's the easiest place to find them all in one place, appropriately labelled, and all in working order.

Another thing to watch, which is only available on the internet, is Machinima, or computer animated films made from scripts and/or music combined with animation taken straight from video games. A hilarious, though slightly vuglar example taken from World of Warcraft and a song from the musical "Avenue Q". I'll even provide this video, taken from youtube.com:

Anyway, there's lots more Machinima available over at www.machinima.com. Check it out if you're interested. ^^
